St. John Providence Health System, based in Warren, Mich., has confirmed it will lay off 160 employees, according to a Detroit Free Press report.

Warren, Mich.-based St. John Providence Health System is planning staff reductions that could lead to hundreds of layoffs, according to a report by The Detroit News.

The following hospital and/or health system job eliminations were announced or implemented in the last three weeks. They are listed by the number of employees or positions affected.

Indianapolis-based St. Vincent Health will lay off employees across its 22-hospital system before July 1, according to an Indianapolis Business Journal report.

Providence, R.I.-based Lifespan is cutting 107 positions through layoffs and the elimination of empty positions, according to a Rhode Island Public Radio report.

Dunkirk, N.Y.-based Lake Erie Regional Health System of New York has laid off at least 40 employees from its Lake Shore Health Care Center in Irving and Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, according to a report by The Buffalo News.

The McCready Foundation in Crisfield, Md., the parent of McCready Memorial Hospital, has laid off 18 employees from the hospital and its Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home, according to a Delmarva Now report.
