According to the whitepaper, the nurse managers were spending 30-40 hours of time on scheduling. In an attempt to rectify this issue, manage labor costs, have high nurse retention rates and improve Press Ganey scores, the hospital employed Intrigma’s Intrigma Scheduler for Nursing.

Most notably, the switchover to Intrigma Scheduler for Nursing provided the following results:

– Reduced scheduling time to 1/10th of the original time

– Reduced unnecessary overtime labor costs

– Improved retention

– Increased Press Ganey ranking from the mid-80th percentiles to the upper 90th percentiles.
