The coordinator will organize staff training and compliance with mandated audits and surveys, manage clinical and chart documentation, investigations and analyses as required, follow and update policy and procedure manuals as appropriate per updates to Florida and Federal Healthcare laws. Makes sure healthcare providers are in compliance at all levels with city, state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
Florida Risk Management certification/license.
Bachelors or Master’s degree in nursing, or other clinical area to acquire and maintain Florida Healthcare Risk Management Certification.
3 years hands on Risk Management/Compliance experience.
Experience in city, county, state and federal healthcare regulations and guidelines.
Knowledge of AHCA and AAAHC survey and accreditation processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
