The Indiana Registered Nurses Association, which represents the workers, reached the tentative agreement with the hospital Tuesday morning.
The new agreement includes a 4 percent wage increase upon ratification of the contract through Nov. 1, 2017, and a 1.5 percent increase the following year, according to the report. The new agreement also calls for changes to the nurses’ health plans, with the creation of a shared co-premium of 10 percent for both full-time and part-time nurses participating in the preferred provider organization plan.
The agreement must still be ratified by union members. Pending ratification, the contract will run through Oct. 31, 2018, according to the report.
