Hospital job growth grew more slowly in April than the 6,300 seasonally adjusted jobs added in March, according to the department’s preliminary figures, but continued the year’s upward job trend.
Ambulatory service facilities added 13,600 jobs, mostly in home health services and physicians’ offices. Outpatient care centers added about 900 jobs.
