WVU Healthcare to Purchase Fairmont Regional Cancer Center for $14M

West Virginia University Healthcare in Morgantown has plans to purchase the Fairmont (W.Va.) Regional Cancer Center, according to a WDTV 5 report.

The purchase will cost WVU Healthcare $14 million. The health system has submitted an application to the state for a certificate of need.

The purchase could be approved by the state by the middle of April, according to the report.
