Winter Haven Hospital in Florida has sent requests for proposals of affiliation to five non-profit health systems, according to a Winter Haven News Chief report.
The five Florida systems are Winter Park-based Adventist Health System, Clearwater-based BayCare Health System, Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, Orlando Health and Shands HealthCare in Gainesville.
Winter Haven has not finalized the affiliation model, and RFPs are open to mergers, joint ventures or other forms of partnership.
