Verdugo Hills Hospital, USC Keck Medical Center Continue Merger Discussions

Although officials at Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, Calif., hoped to complete its merger discussions with University of Southern California’s Keck Medical Center in Los Angeles by the end of 2012, the talks are behind schedule, according to a Cañada Valley Sun report.

The two organizations entered into merger talks in July after Verdugo Hills announced interest in a potential partner in March. According to the report, they are still working on due diligence with no strict timeline for completion.
