Proposals are expected from Mercy Health System of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, Integris Health in Oklahoma City and SSM Oklahoma in St. Louis, according to the report. Valley View currently has a professional management deal with Mercy Health. The requests for proposals were sent out in September.

According to the report, officials are considering a partnership in order to “best adhere” to provisions in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, scheduled cutbacks in Medicare reimbursements and other challenges in the industry.
