The agreement expands the relationship between UVA and the hospital, as UVA became a 49 percent owner of CRH in 2009.

“This strengthened partnership with UVA will give CRH the resources it needs to continue providing high-quality care and service for our local community,” said Charles Crist, a member of the CRH Board of Trustees.

Under the agreement, UVA will invest approximately $45 million in the hospital. In addition, the Culpeper Wellness Foundation will receive $5 million for capital improvements.
