The two organizations announced the potential for collaboration in June, which would continue a longtime alliance between the two health systems for cardiology services.

If approved, a partnership would commit the two systems to work closely together to identify and meet community healthcare needs, according to the report. The agreement would also give Jones Memorial access to URMC’s administrative expertise. According to the report, Jones Memorial is relying on a state grant of $1 million to help facilitate the agreement.
