UC San Diego Health, Eisenhower Health expand cancer services

UC San Diego Health and Rancho Mirage, Calif.-based Eisenhower Health signed a five-year affiliation agreement to expand cancer services to residents in the Coachella Valley this month, UC San Diego Health announced Jan. 11.

The agreement will expand research opportunities for clinicians at both institutions, increase the availability of telemedicine to patients and provide superior cancer treatment options to residents in the Coachella Valley.

Physicians at both institutions will also have the opportunity to share best practices during the UC San Diego Health-La Jolla (Calif.) Moores Cancer Center’s molecular tumor board, a multidisciplinary conference where physicians can discuss complex cases and treatment options.
