New Jersey’s Warren Healthcare to Join St. Luke’s Hospital and Health Network

Phillipsburg, N.J.-based Warren Healthcare plans to join Bethlehem, Pa.-based St. Luke’s Hospital and Health Network, according to a St. Luke’s news release.

The partnership aims to provide the community continued access to quality, cost-effective healthcare. The organizations also plan to invest in information technology and build a new intensive care unit for Warren.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter 2011, at which point Warren Hospital will operate as St. Luke’s Warren Hospital.
