Tri-City, Fallbrook Healthcare Districts Ink Joint Powers Agreement

The Tri-City Healthcare District in Oceanside, Calif., has reached a joint powers agreement with the Fallbrook (Calif.) Healthcare District to help support Fallbrook’s expansion of services in the local region.

Larry Anderson, CEO of Tri-City Healthcare District, which runs Tri-City Medical Center, and Vi Dupre, administrator of Fallbrook Healthcare District, which runs Fallbrook Hospital, said in a joint statement they hope the agreement will allow both systems to provide more services locally.

“We understand the burden of families having to travel to distant facilities in order to receive care,” the two said in the statement.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
