The EnMed program stems from a collaboration between Texas A&M and Houston Methodist Hospital. The goal of the initiative is to “educate a new kind of doctor who will create transformational technology for healthcare,” according to the Texas A&M news center.
The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
