The BCC approved a 99-year lease agreement and a “liquid asset transfer” agreement. TVHC includes the 13-bed Teton Valley Hospital, a critical access hospital.
County Commissioner Kelly Park told the Teton Valley News that although the hospital would eventually move from public-owned to non-profit to take the burden off local taxpayers, he wished the final decision would have waited a little longer in order to fully educate the public on the health system’s decision.
