St. Vincent Jennings Hospital Buys Assets of Bankrupt Indiana Hospital

St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon, Ind., is buying bankrupt Washington County Memorial Hospital’s assets for up to $3.5 million, according to a report in The Courier-Journal.

Washington Country Memorial, in Salem, Ind., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June. St. Vincent has provided management services during the reorganization process, according to the report.

A bankruptcy judge approved St. Vincent’s plan to purchase Washington County Memorial’s assets last month.
