Christus Saint Michael Health System, Atlanta Memorial Hospital to Merge

Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas, and Atlanta (Texas) Memorial Hospital agreed to a merger by signing a 10-year lease agreement, according to a KTBS report.

The Atlanta Hospital Authority will retain ownership of Atlanta Memorial Hospital, but the hospital will be leased to Christus St. Michael Health. Atlanta Memorial will be called Christus St. Michael-Atlanta going forward, according to the report.
