Marion Regional is exploring a CHS partnership in order to expand services. It previously explored a partnership with McLeod Health, but discussions ended in December, according to the report.
Under the agreement, CHS will provide capital and assist in physician recruitment efforts. Marion will remain governed by a local board of trustees and employees in good standing will keep their jobs, according to the report.
