Under the merger, MeritCare’s Mayville clinic will move into the 25-bed hospital in a new addition to be built by late fall 2010.
MeritCare Health System, which operates four hospitals and 20 clinic locations in North Dakota and Minnesota, also plans to merge with Sanford Health, a South Dakota health system with 128 clinics and 23 hospitals.
