Sierra Vista Regional Health to Manage Southeast Arizona Medical Center

Sierra Vista Regional Health Center in Douglas, Ariz., has entered into a contract to manage 25-bed Southeast Arizona Medical Center, also in Douglas, effective July 14, according to a SVRHC news release.

The agreement is intended to increase collaboration between the hospitals and improve quality and efficiency of care. SAMC will pay a monthly management fee to SVRHC under the agreement; the amount of the fee was not disclosed.
