Scott & White and Llano Memorial Delay Merger to January

Temple, Texas-based Scott & White Healthcare and Texas’ Llano Memorial Healthcare System have announced that their scheduled Sept. 1 merger will be delayed until January, according to a Llano County Journal report.

The transaction is being delayed so both entities can better line up with Scott & White’s employee benefits year and allow more time for the merger documents to be finalized, according to the report.

Jan. 1 is the target date for the official merger.
