Foundation Surgery Center was previously owned by Foundation Surgery Affiliates and more than 100 local physicians. As part of the deal, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa acquired all of Foundation’s ownership in Foundation Surgery Center of San Antonio in addition to a part of the ownership stake held by the physicians, according to the report.
The four ASC locations now under majority control of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa include Alamo Heights I, Alamo Heights II, Stone Oak and Ewing Halsell. All will be renamed CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Physicians Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
