The letter was not publicly released and will remain a confidential document until there is a signed agreement. NMC is the sole participant in the affiliation process after HCA withdrew last week.

SVMH has been searching for a potential partner for about a year. According to the report, the SVMH board could decide to agree to NMC’s letter of intent as soon as July 26; however, a public vote is required for an affiliation.
