GVH has experienced unexpected declines in volumes, leading to its pursuit of a company to help improve its operations and financial performance. “We reached a point where we needed to evaluate alternatives. CHC presented us with options and strategies and a proven track record of success,” said GVH CEO Rob Santilli. “The trustees went through a comprehensive search process and found CHC’s non-profit values and approach to culture change and performance improvement consistent with their values. We are excited to begin our working relationship.”

According to the release, CHC has consulted with 35 hospitals nationwide over the last 18 months. The team offers specialized expertise in community-based hospitals, providing resources to strengthen, preserve and support these hospitals, including flexible, individualized consulting services along with ownership and management models as needed.
