Parts of the plan that require state approval will still have to be submitted to the state Department of Certificate of Public Need before construction starts, according to the report.
Among the planned improvements are a new on-campus office building for physicians, an additional 5,200 square feet for a surgery center, the addition of two levels to a medical office building, expansions to add new levels to the hospital’s west and central tower, new parking structures and an expanded emergency department, according to the report.
