Quorum to divest 2 hospitals in Tennessee

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health Corp., signed a definitive agreement Friday to sell two hospitals in Tennessee.

The 36-hospital operator will sell Henderson County Community Hospital, a 45-bed hospital in Lexington, and 45-bed McKenzie (Tenn.) Regional Hospital to SHS Tennessee.

Officials expect to close the transaction by Aug. 1., pending regulatory approval.
