With the transaction complete, the hospital has been renamed Coshocton Regional Medical Center.
The hospital, which has faced financial troubles, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year. Prime has agreed to make significant investments in the hospital’s equipment and infrastructure over the next five years.
With the addition of Coshocton Regional Medical Center, Prime Healthcare owns 44 hospitals, 12 of which are members of the Prime Healthcare Foundation.
