Joining Mon Health System will help the 25-bed critical access hospital finance the construction of a new facility. The new building — which will replace the existing 60-year-old facility — will provide more space for expanded family practice, cardiology, pulmonology and orthopedics, among other physician services, according to a news release.
The new facility will cost about $27 million, with an additional $11.5 million for equipment upgrades, site preparation and other project costs, Preston Memorial Hospital President and CEO Melissa Lockwood said, according to the release.
