The new Dallas-based 28-bed medical unit will specialize in providing services to detox patients from acute drug and alcohol abuse. The partnership aims to increase access to care through in-network contracts in addition to accepting Medicare and Medicaid, according to an Oct. 20 news release.

“Adding this service line and partnership is a huge win for our community, and really all of those in North Texas who are fighting substance abuse. All too often we see news stories about how addiction tears lives apart, but now we can offer help to those who want to get back on the right path,” said Ruben Garza, Dallas Medical Center CEO.

The Haven Texas opened in 2018, according to the release.
