Palm Drive Hospital in Sebastopol, Calif., has made its selection out of numerous intereted health systems, and is beginning exclusive negotiations with Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, Calif., to form an affiliation, according to a Press Democrat report.

As proposed, the affiliation would provide management services, management support and access to Prima Medical Group physicians. Last year, Marin General and Marin-Sonoma IPA formed a nonprofit medical foundation that contracts with Prima Medical Group.

The Palm Drive board received proposals from several systems, including St. Joseph Health System of Sonoma County and St. Helena Hospital, which is part of Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health.
