Oregon Hospital Merges with Providence Health and Services

Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City, Ore., has agreed to merge with Providence Health and Services, a not-for-profit health system with 26 hospitals throughout Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon and California, according to a report by the Oregon City News.

The hospital will be renamed Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center after the merger becomes official.

Providence has said that it will keep the more than 800 Willamette Falls employees on staff after the merger.
