This week, Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio, will attempt to sell for the fourth time in nearly two years, according to a Ledger Independent report.
Hospital board members and the Brown County of Commissioners have received two proposals: one from Christ Hospital in Cincinnati and one from Southwest Healthcare in Scottsdale, Ariz. The board may decide which proposal to pursue by the end of this week.
The hospital’s third attempt to sell was called off in Oct. 2010, when Falcon Investors canceled its plans to purchase the hospital without reason.
