Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Sectra partner to improve breast healthcare

The Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Center at Chicago-based Northwestern Memorial Hospital and medical imaging IT company Sectra entered into a multiyear agreement to improve the quality of breast care and cancer detection at the hospital.

Under the agreement, Northwestern will utilize Sectra PACS, a breast imaging software, to conduct mammography screenings and diagnostic breast imaging workflows. The software will be integrated into the hospital’s existing IT infrastructure.

The financial terms of the agreement have not yet been disclosed.
