In June 2012, Northern Berkshire emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy after restructuring its debt payments to be $2.25 million per year rather than $6.4 million per year. According to the report, the organization reported a gain of $3 million on revenues of $68 million for fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2012. With the debt crisis in the past, the system can focus on its strategic plans with Berkshire Health Systems.
While Northern Berkshire has identified Berkshire Health as its partner, no details on the structure of the affiliation have been released.
