New York hospital acquires 2 family medicine practices

Wyoming County Community Health System in Warsaw, N.Y., is continuing its expansion of family services with the acquisition of two medical practices, according to Buffalo Business First.

The hospital is acquiring WNY Medical P.C., in Arcade, N.Y., operated by a physician for nearly 40 years before he retired. The hospital also will acquire a second medical practice in Arcade that was run by Dale Deahn, MD.

Dr. Deahn will join the Wyoming County Community staff and serve as a director of its family practice group.

The transactions are expected to close in July. The hospital expects to spend $150,000 to renovate and equip the two practices.
