The affiliation is intended to “best preserve and enhance the availability of quality healthcare services to the communities currently served by St. James Mercy Hospital,” said by St. James CEO Mary LaRowe in the report.
Both systems are currently performing due diligence for an affiliation, which is expected to take several months.
