New 20-Bed Replacement Hospital Benefits From Merger With Boston’s Partners HealthCare

Martha’s Vineyard (Mass.) Hospital is opening a 90,000 square-foot, $48 million replacement hospital that benefits from its 2007 merger with Partners HealthCare in Boston, according to a report from the Martha’s Vineyard Gazette.

For example, the 20-bed critical care hospital’s electronic medical records system was designed for all Partners hospitals, including Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
