Here are three things to know about the transaction.
1. Moab Family Medicine already operated inside the hospital’s facility, adjacent to the hospital’s Multi-Specialty Clinic. However, until the purchase, Moab Family Medicine was a separate, privately-owned practice.
2. Moab Family Medicine and the multispecialty clinic will jointly function as the Moab Regional Health Center, according to the report. All Moab Family Medicine employees are now employees of the hospital.
3. Financial terms of the purchase were not disclosed, according to the report.
