Minnesota’s Virginia Regional Medical Center Considering Merger, Acquisition

Virginia (Minn.) Regional Medical Center has decided to seek a consultant to help the 83-bed hospital determine if it would benefit from a merger or acquisition with another entity, according to a FOX 21 News report.

The hospital said it hopes to select a consultant by mid-November to help the hospital commission submit proposals to other facilities.

Although the hospital broke even last month, it has been struggling financially for some time, according to the report.
