The 25-bed hospital is currently in discussions with the Mayo Health System, but has yet to make a decision on a potential partner, according to the report.
The hospital board was pushed to pursue a partnership after the passing of healthcare reform. Its executives hope it will allow the hospital to increase services and thereby access to care, according to the report.
