Michigan’s Zeeland Community Hospital Agrees to Join Spectrum Health

Zeeland (Mich.) Community Hospital has signed an agreement to join Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Spectrum Health, effective, Jan. 1, according to a report by the Grand Rapids Press.

As part of the integration, Zeeland Community will be renamed Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital. The two groups have been discussing a partnership for the last six months.

The full integration process will take up to 24 months, according to the report. All employees are expected to keep their jobs, but some may have to commute to other Spectrum locations.
