Michigan’s Lakeland HealthCare and Watervliet Hospital Complete Integration

Lakeland HealthCare in St. Joseph, Mich., and Community Hospital Watervliet (Mich.) have completed the integration of the two organizations, ending nearly six months of discussions, according to a WSJM report.

Community Hospital Watervliet is now officially part of Lakeland. Its local board of directors will remain active as a subsidiary board.

The Watervliet hospital will be renamed Lakeland Hospital Watervliet and will soon ungergo several renovation and upgrade projects financed by Lakeland.
