Memorial Hospital of Adel in Georgia to Change Name Following Sale

Memorial Hospital of Adel (Ga.) will change its name to Cook Medical Center-A Campus of Tift Regional Medical Center on July 2, to reflect its recent purchase by The Hospital Authority of Tift County, which owns and operates Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Ga., according to a Moultrie Observer report.

In March, the Hospital Authority entered into an agreement to purchase Memorial Hospital from SunLink Health System; the transaction will finalize on July 2.
