Michael Freed Named CEO of Spectrum’s Priority Health

Michael Freed has been named president and CEO of Priority Health, one of Michigan’s largest health plans.

Mr. Freed had been serving as interim president and CEO of Priority Health since May 2012. He accepted the position while keeping his current role as executive vice president and CFO of Spectrum Health System in Grand Rapids, Mich. Spectrum Health System is the parent company of Priority Health.

Mr. Freed has more than 30 years of healthcare industry management. He has been with Spectrum Health for 17 years.
