Raffles, the largest private group practice in Singapore, is the first organization in Asia to join the network.
The partnership enables Raffles to utilize Mayo’s network tools, including eConsults, AskMayoExpert and eTumor Board Conferences. It also promotes physician collaboration and shared resources between the organizations.
Founded in 1976 with two clinics, Raffles Medical Group has grown to become a fully integrated healthcare organization with nearly 80 clinics across Singapore and medical centers in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
“We are pleased to welcome Raffles Medical Group to the network,” said Mayo Clinic Care Network director David Hayes, MD. “As we have worked together toward today’s announcement, we have been impressed by the cultural alignment of our two institutions.”
Mayo Clinic Care Network, launched in 2011, now has more than 30 members based in 20 states, as well as Puerto Rico and Mexico.
