Cleveland’s University Hospitals Names Bon Secours Executive to Head New Post Overseeing Community Hospitals, Ambulatory Networks

University Hospitals in Cleveland has appointed Richard A. Hanson to the new position of president of community hospitals and ambulatory networks, according to a release from University Hospitals.

Mr. Hanson comes from Bon Secours Health System where he has been senior vice president of performance management and CEO of its Hampton Roads Health System.

At University Hospitals, he will oversee integrated delivery services at six community hospitals in northeast Ohio, 18 ambulatory centers, home care services and an extended care campus.
