Additionally, Raymond A. Grahe, senior vice president and CFO of Mertius, has been named CEO of Trivergent Health Alliance MSO, a management services organization that is a subsidiary of the alliance, according to a news release. Mr. Grahe will assume his new responsibilities early next month, and Dale Bushey — the current vice president of finance at Meritus — will become interim CFO.

Frederick Regional, Meritus and WMHS originally signed a letter of intent last October to create the regional collaboration focused on cost reduction and population health management for western Maryland patients. The health systems agreed to focus on creating a management services organization to reduce costs, improving quality and expanding the Mertius accountable care organization.
