Under the terms of the agreement, physicians from the group will be staffed in the emergency room in the Women and Children’s Center at Kingwood Medical Center. They will provide a variety of services, including providing care to patients prior to the arrival of the patient’s primary physician, caring for high-risk pregnancy patients and delivering babies for patients that do not have an obstetrician, according to the article.
