Via Christi, the state’s largest health services provider, will provide outreach services, help recruit medical staff and oversee the operations of the 49-bed, non-profit Memorial. The hospital’s board of trustees will remain in place, as will President and CEO, Jim Chromik. Mr. Chromik, however, will become an employee of Via Christi Health.
The agreement is effective Jan. 1.
